Italian Broccoli

A flavorful Italian broccoli dish featuring tender, garlic-infused broccoli topped with Parmesan cheese and broiled to perfection, perfect as a side or light main course.

Ingredients

  • 3 pkg. broccoli spears (frozen)
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Partly defrost the broccoli.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter.
  3. Cut the garlic in half and sauté until golden.
  4. Remove the garlic from the skillet.
  5. Spread the broccoli in a single layer in the pan.
  6. Saute the broccoli, turning gently, for 10 minutes until tender.
  7. Arrange the broccoli in a heatproof serving dish.
  8. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  9. Place under the broiler for 1 minute until cheese is melted and golden.
