Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 1 large can kernel corn (not creamed)
  • 1 bag extra wide egg noodles
  • 24 slices Velveeta cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet.
  2. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions.
  3. In a large casserole dish, layer the cooked noodles.
  4. Top with a portion of cooked ground beef.
  5. Spoon tomato soup over the beef, then add a layer of corn.
  6. Spread a layer of Velveeta cheese over the corn.
  7. Repeat the layering process until the dish is filled, ending with a top layer of cheese.
  8. Cover the casserole dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  9. Serve hot, optionally with a glass of white wine and fresh French bread.
