- Cream together margarine and cream cheese until light and fluffy.
- Add flour and mix well.
- Roll dough to 1/8-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface.
- Cut with a 2-inch round cutter.
- Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet with sides touching.
- Combine jam and chopped walnuts.
- Drop 1 to 2 teaspoons of jam mixture on each dough round.
- Fold opposite sides of the dough together and pinch with thumb and forefinger.
- Bake at 375°F for 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and cool on a rack.
- Dust with powdered sugar while warm.
