Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 2 1/2 cups ground oatmeal
  • 1 bag milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cream butter, eggs, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla together then add flour, oatmeal, chocolate chips and pecans.
  2. Drop tablespoon size cookies on cookie sheet.
  3. Bake cookies at 375 degrees for 6 - 8 minutes (bottoms should be "light brown" - may look a little gooey on top of cookie).
