Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 chopped garlic
  • 2 cans stewed tomatoes
  • 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
  • 1 can tomato sauce with herbs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes

  • Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Combine all sauce ingredients in a pot.
  2. Bring to a simmer.
  3. Cook uncovered for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
