Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 12 marshmallows
  • 8 oz. bag Nestle bits
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • nuts (if desired)

Instructions

  1. Place butter, sugar, evaporated milk, and marshmallows in a saucepan, mixing constantly with a wooden spoon.
  2. Bring to a boil on medium heat, then stir for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Add the bag of Nestle bits, vanilla, and nuts (if desired) into the pan.
  5. Mix until smooth.
  6. Pour into an 8-inch square pan.
  7. Cool in the fridge.
  8. Cut into square pieces.
