Ingredients

  • 8 qt. (32 cups) air popped corn
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 c. margarine
  • 1/2 c. light corn syrup

Instructions

  1. Put the popped corn in a very large kettle or water bath kettle.
  2. Bring the brown sugar, margarine, and light corn syrup to a boil in a heavy pan.
  3. Pour the hot caramel mixture over the popped corn and mix well.
  4. Spread the caramel-coated popcorn on cookie sheets.
  5. Bake at 200 degrees Fahrenheit until dry, about 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
