Ingredients

  • 4 large apples
  • 4 large oranges
  • 1 can sliced pineapple
  • 2 cans mandarin orange segments
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 heaping tablespoons corn starch
  • 1/2 bag miniature marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Drain juice from the pineapple into a saucepan and add 1/2 cup of orange juice.
  2. Mix the corn starch with sugar, then stir into the saucepan and bring to a boil until thickened.
  3. Set the mixture aside and let it cool.
  4. Pour the cooled syrup over the chopped apples, oranges, pineapple, and mandarin orange segments.
  5. Optionally, pour the hot syrup over miniature marshmallows for added sweetness.
