Ingredients

  • 3 sticks margarine
  • 10 oz. hot sauce
  • 1/2 gallon vegetable oil
  • 4 lb. chicken wings

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in large pot.
  2. Melt margarine and add hot sauce in separate pot.
  3. Season chicken wings.
  4. Place wings a few at a time in hot oil.
  5. Cook until they come to the top of the oil and add a couple of extra minutes to the cooking time after they reach top of oil.
  6. Drain on paper towels and place in sauce mixture for a few minutes, turning to coat.
  7. Take out put in dish to put in oven on 250° to stay warm until all wings are done.
  8. Any extra sauce can be used as dipping sauce for French fries.
