Ingredients

  • 2/3 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2/3 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 tsp. Accent or m.s.g.
  • 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Cut meat into 3/8-inch to 1/2-inch strips.
  2. Marinate in the refrigerator overnight or up to 2 days.
  3. Lay meat on foil-covered oven racks.
  4. Dry at less than 150°F (65°C).
  5. Drying will take approximately 6 to 8 hours.
  6. Store in airtight containers (Mason jars) at room temperature.
  7. It can also be frozen.
  8. Teriyaki sauce can be substituted for the Worcestershire sauce for a sweeter version.
