Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
  • 2 Tbsp. fat
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp. dry or prepared mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • pinch of pepper
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Shape the ground chuck into 8 to 10 small meatballs.
  2. Saute the meatballs in hot fat in a skillet until lightly browned.
  3. Add bread crumbs to the meat first.
  4. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over the meatballs.
  5. Continue cooking over medium heat, basting frequently with sauce, for about 15 minutes.
  6. Serve over cooked spaghetti or rice.
