Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons margarine or butter
  • 3 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese
  • 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (21 oz.) can cherry filling or topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs and margarine or butter.
  3. Press firmly on the bottom of a 9-inch spring-form pan to form the crust.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until fluffy.
  5. Gradually beat in the sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  6. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add sour cream and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  7. Pour the filling into the prepared crust.
  8. Bake for 50 to 55 minutes or until lightly browned around the edges and the center is slightly soft.
  9. Allow the cheesecake to cool.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator.
  11. Top with cherry filling or other fruit topping before serving.
  12. Refrigerate leftovers.
