Ingredients

  • 4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. nuts

Instructions

  1. Cook sugar, corn syrup, and water until mixture reaches 255°F on a candy thermometer.
  2. Pour the hot syrup slowly over stiffly beaten egg whites.
  3. Add vanilla and nuts to the mixture.
  4. Drop spoonfuls onto waxed paper to cool and set.
