Ingredients

  • 1 cup molasses
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 quarts popped corn

Instructions

  1. Mix molasses, brown sugar, water, and salt in a large saucepan.
  2. Cook to soft ball stage on a candy thermometer.
  3. Remove from heat and add butter.
  4. Pour syrup over the popped corn and mix well.
  5. Form into soft balls.
