A gooey, sweet monkey bread with cinnamon, pecans, and a caramel-like glaze, perfect for sharing at breakfast or brunch gatherings with friends and family.

Ingredients

  • 3 or 4 (10 oz.) cans biscuits
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 tablespoon Karo syrup
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. Grease an angel food cake or Bundt pan and spread chopped pecans inside.
  4. Quarter the biscuits and coat each piece with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  5. Place the coated biscuit pieces in the prepared baking pan.
  6. Pour the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture over the biscuits.
  7. In a medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, margarine, Karo syrup, and water. Bring to a boil and cook for 1 minute.
  8. Pour the caramel mixture over the biscuits in the pan.
  9. Bake for 35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
