Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil or applesauce
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl; mix.
  2. Add remaining ingredients; mix with a fork until large lumps disappear.
  3. Grease the griddle.
  4. Heat on medium-high until a few drops of water sizzle. Pour batter onto hot griddle.
  5. Turn pancakes over when bubbles form and edges start to dry.
  6. Cook on the other side until desired brownness.
