- Prepare the yellow cake mix according to the package directions to make 2 layers.
- Bake the layers and let them cool.
- Slice each cake layer horizontally into two pieces to make 4 layers in total.
- In a saucepan, cook the Milnot, sugar, and butter until thickened.
- Place sliced bananas between each cake layer.
- Pour the hot icing over the assembled cake to cover the top and sides.
- Optionally, add whipped cream on top before serving.
