Instructions
- Mix brown sugar, white Karo syrup, oleo, and salt together and boil for 5 minutes.
- Add vanilla and soda; this will cause the mixture to fizz.
- Spray a large metal dishpan or mixing bowl with Pam spray.
- Pour the syrup mixture over 7 quarts of popped corn and blanched nuts.
- Mix well together and place in a 250°F oven for 45 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
