A rich and sweet homemade maple syrup with vanilla and brown sugar, perfect for drizzling over pancakes, waffles, or desserts, adding warm, nostalgic flavor to breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 4 c. sugar
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. maple extract

Instructions

  1. Place sugar and brown sugar in a saucepan.
  2. Pour 2 cups boiling water over the sugars and stir gently until dissolved.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. Add maple extract and vanilla extract to the boiling mixture.
  5. Stir until the extracts are blended in.
  6. Pour the syrup into a container for storage.
