Jumbo Stuffed Shells

Ingredients

  • 1 large jar spaghetti sauce (32 oz. or larger)
  • 2 lb. Ricotta
  • 8 oz. shredded Mozzarella
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground sirloin
  • 1 box jumbo shells

Instructions

  1. Cook shells according to package directions.
  2. Drain and cool. Brown ground sirloin (you may add onion, garlic and oregano to taste).
  3. Drain off grease and let cool.
  4. Beat eggs and stir in the cheeses and the ground meat.
  5. Pour a small amount of spaghetti sauce in bottom of casserole dish.
  6. Stuff shells with ground beef mixture and place in dish.
  7. Top shells with remaining spaghetti sauce.
  8. Top with additional Parmesan if desired.
  9. Cover and bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until bubbling.
  10. Freezes well.
