Ingredients

  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon jello
  • 2/3 cup oil
  • 4 eggs
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • 3/4 cup boiling water
  • 1 pkg. lemon cake mix
  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease a tube pan.
  3. Dissolve lemon jello in boiling water and let cool.
  4. Stir oil and cooled jello into the lemon cake mix.
  5. Beat in eggs one at a time, then continue to beat for 4 minutes.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared tube pan.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 55 minutes.
  8. Heat powdered sugar and lemon juice together and pour over the hot cake.
  9. Allow cake to cool before removing from pan.
