Ingredients

  • 1 pastry crust
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups dark corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup whole or chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup Kahlua

Instructions

  1. Set oven at 400°F.
  2. Cream together butter, sugar, vanilla, and flour.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Beat in eggs, one at a time.
  5. Stir in Kahlua, dark corn syrup, evaporated milk, and pecans.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Pour the mixture into the pastry crust.
  8. Lightly press finely chopped pecans into the crust.
  9. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  10. Bake for 10 minutes at 400°F, then reduce oven temperature to 325°F.
  11. Bake until the filling is firm, about 40 minutes.
  12. Chill before serving.
