Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Heat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, powdered sugar, and baking powder.
  3. Add the butter or margarine to the dry ingredients and mix until crumbly.
  4. Gradually add milk, just enough to form a soft dough.
  5. If the dough seems dry, add more milk one teaspoon at a time until it comes together.
  6. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  7. Cut into desired shapes and place on a baking sheet.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until lightly golden.
  9. Remove from oven and cool slightly before serving.
