Oleo rolls are soft, buttery crescent-shaped rolls with a hint of sweetness, perfect for breakfast or as a side for any meal, appealing to bread lovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oleo, melted
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1 package yeast
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups flour

Instructions

  1. Mix oleo and cold milk and wait until lukewarm.
  2. Add yeast, beaten eggs, sugar, salt, and flour to the mixture.
  3. Mix well until combined.
  4. Put the dough in the refrigerator overnight.
  5. Take out the dough and divide it in half.
  6. Roll each half into a circle and cut into wedges.
  7. Roll each wedge like a crescent roll.
  8. Let the shaped rolls rise for 4 hours.
  9. Bake about 10 minutes in a 400°F oven.
  10. Brush the baked rolls with melted butter before serving.
