Ingredients

  • 16 Ritz crackers
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. heavy cream
  • grated chocolate

Instructions

  1. Crush Ritz crackers and combine with walnuts.
  2. Beat egg whites until stiff.
  3. Add sugar to egg whites and blend.
  4. Fold egg whites into nut mixture and add vanilla.
  5. Pour into a 9-inch pie pan and bake at 300° for 45 minutes (until golden brown).
  6. Cool, then refrigerate.
  7. When ready to serve, whip heavy cream and spread over pie.
  8. Sprinkle with grated chocolate.
