Keeflies are delicate, flaky pastry cookies filled with nut filling, offering a buttery, rich flavor perfect for special occasions or teatime treats.

Instructions
- Mix flour and butter like pastry; add beaten egg yolks and sour cream or evaporated milk; work until dough is smooth.
- Roll the dough into long rolls as for icebox cookies.
- Chill in refrigerator for at least 24 hours, preferably a couple of days.
- Cut the chilled dough into 1/2-inch slices.
- Cut these slices into four pieces and roll each piece in the palm of your hand into a ball.
- Place the balls on a slightly floured board and roll each into a paper-thin circle.
- Fill the circles with your preferred nut filling.
