Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. Karo syrup
  • 1 c. peanuts
  • 1 tsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

Instructions

  1. Microwave sugar, Karo syrup, and peanuts for four minutes on High.
  2. Remove from microwave and stir.
  3. Cook for an additional 3 to 5 minutes, then add butter and vanilla.
  4. Microwave for 1 to 2 minutes, then remove and stir in baking soda.
  5. Pour onto a buttered pan and allow to cool before breaking into pieces.
