Ingredients

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1/2 c. Key lime juice
  • 1 (15 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
  • green food coloring
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1/2 c. sugar

Instructions

  1. Beat the egg yolks until light and lemon colored.
  2. Add 1/2 cup Key lime juice to the egg yolks.
  3. Beat in the contents of the can of sweetened condensed milk and green food coloring until the mixture attains a natural lime tint.
  4. Pour the custard into a baked pie crust.
