Ingredients

  • 2 tsp rosemary leaves
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup margarine

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in the microwave.
  2. Stir in rosemary leaves and black pepper.
  3. Using a pastry brush, brush the insides of 12 muffin cups with the rosemary and butter mixture.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  5. Prepare the biscuit batter by mixing flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda, buttermilk, and margarine as needed.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared muffin cups.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 15 minutes or until golden brown.
