Ingredients

  • 1 pkg yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  2. Mix evaporated milk with warm water.
  3. Add the evaporated milk mixture, oil, sugar, salt, and beaten egg to the yeast mixture. Mix well.
  4. Add bread flour gradually to form a soft dough.
  5. Cover with wax paper and a towel. Let rise until double in size, about 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
  6. Knead the dough well and divide into rolls about 1/2-inch thick.
  7. Dip each roll in melted butter.
  8. Place the rolls on a baking pan and let rise for 1 1/2 hours.
  9. Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
