Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple with heavy syrup
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Vanilla

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Do not drain the pineapple juice; add the crushed pineapple with heavy syrup.
  3. Grease and flour the baking pan.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 to 45 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
