Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups whipping cream (do not whip)
  • 1 cup milk
  • salt
  • 4 1/2 cups sifted flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder for each cup of flour

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients well.
  2. Refrigerate overnight to ease handling.
  3. Take 1 rounded teaspoonful of dough and roll into a pencil shape about 5 to 6 inches long.
  4. Shape the dough into a figure 8 or your desired shape.
  5. Bake at 375°F for 10 minutes, no longer.
  6. They will look light in color when done.
