- Combine cucumbers, onions, peppers, and pickling salt in a large bowl.
- Let stand for 3 or more hours, then drain.
- In a separate bowl, combine sugar, mustard seed, turmeric, and cloves.
- Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Add the sugar mixture to the drained vegetables and heat thoroughly.
- Do not boil after mixing.
- Place the mixture into jars and seal.
