Instructions
- Cut the grapefruit in half.
- Loosen the fruit from the skin, then cut each section close to the membrane.
- Remove the core.
- Dot each grapefruit half with butter.
- Combine sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and sprinkle over the grapefruit halves.
- Place the grapefruit halves on the broiler rack 4 inches from the heat.
- Broil for 8 minutes.
- Decorate with maraschino cherries before serving.
