Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans crushed pineapple
  • 2 small or 1 large pkg. vanilla pudding mix (instant)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the yellow cake according to package directions and bake in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. When the cake is baked, poke holes in the surface with a fork.
  3. Spread crushed pineapple and juice evenly over the hot cake.
  4. Let the cake cool completely.
  5. Prepare the vanilla pudding mix according to package instructions.
  6. Spread the pudding evenly over the cooled cake.
  7. Refrigerate the cake for 30 minutes to set the pudding.
  8. Spread Cool Whip over the pudding layer.
  9. Serve and enjoy.
