Ingredients

  • 12 to 16 potatoes
  • 1 small onion
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups canned milk
  • 1 1/2 sticks oleo
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 pound chopped bacon

Instructions

  1. Fry the bacon, drain and set aside.
  2. Beat the eggs well.
  3. Grate the small onion.
  4. Mix the grated onion, beaten eggs, potatoes, flour, canned milk, melted oleo, and salt in a large bowl.
  5. Add the cooked bacon into the mixture.
  6. Pour the mixture into a well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  7. Place the reserved bacon slices on top.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 1/2 hours or until brown and set.
