Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 4 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 2 c. plain flour
  • dash of salt

Instructions

  1. Cream softened butter and sugar until smooth.
  2. Add vanilla, nuts, salt, and flour.
  3. Roll by hand into small rolls.
  4. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake for 30 minutes at 325° or until brown.
  5. Cool slightly and place in a bag of powdered sugar and shake to coat.
  6. Dry on waxed paper.
  7. Store in an airtight container.
