Ingredients

  • 4 c. Gold Medal flour
  • 1 lb. margarine
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 pt. sour cream
  • 1 c. buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven and prepare two dozen round clothespins covered in foil.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine 4 cups of Gold Medal flour and a pinch of salt.
  3. Add 1 pound of margarine and cut in until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in 1/2 pint of sour cream and 1 cup of buttermilk until a soft dough forms.
  5. Divide the dough into small portions and shape them into round logs.
  6. Wrap each log around a foil-covered clothespin to form a curved shape.
  7. Bake until golden brown, then remove from oven and allow to cool.
  8. Fill with your choice of creme filling and serve.
