Ingredients

  • 1 small box lasagna noodles
  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 (16 oz.) cottage cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 to 3 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce

Instructions

  1. Boil lasagna noodles until tender, about 10 minutes.
  2. Fry ground beef in a saucepan until browned.
  3. Pour 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce into a flat baking dish.
  4. Layer noodles, cooked ground beef, cottage cheese, and mozzarella cheese in the dish.
  5. Repeat layers until the dish is filled, ending with noodles and sauce on top.
  6. Bake the lasagna for 40 minutes at 325°F.
