A quick, refreshing appetizer combining sweet cantaloupe, creamy avocado, and salty prosciutto, perfect for entertaining or a light snack for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 small cantaloupe
  • 1 avocado
  • 8 slices prosciutto
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut the cantaloupe into 4 equal parts.
  2. Scoop out seeds and remove skins from the cantaloupe.
  3. Season the cantaloupe with salt and pepper; set aside.
  4. Cut the avocado in half and carefully remove the pit.
  5. Peel the avocado and slice each half into 4 equal pieces.
  6. Immediately brush the avocado slices with lemon juice to prevent browning.
