Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • salt
  • chili powder
  • sliced onions
  • sliced potatoes

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet.
  2. Drain and rinse the meat, then season with salt and sprinkle with chili powder.
  3. In a Dutch oven, layer the cooked meat, sliced onions, potatoes, and carrots.
  4. Add a layer of sliced onions on top of the vegetables.
  5. Pour the can of whole tomatoes with juice over the layered ingredients.
  6. Bake uncovered until the potatoes and carrots are tender.
