Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 lb. round steak
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 onion
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. beef broth
  • 1 Italian tomato

Instructions

  1. Cut steak into serving pieces.
  2. Heat oil in skillet and brown steak pieces.
  3. Remove steak from skillet and drain.
  4. Place carrot and onion in bottom of slow cooker.
  5. Place steak on top of vegetables.
  6. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the ingredients.
  7. Place sliced tomatoes on top.
  8. Pour beef broth over layers.
  9. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
