Ingredients

  • 3 lb. chuck steak
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 large lemon, sliced
  • 2 medium onions, sliced
  • 1 c. ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 c. water

Instructions

  1. Wipe the steak with a damp cloth or paper towel.
  2. Place the steak in a large baking dish or Dutch oven.
  3. Rub both sides of the steak with softened butter or margarine.
  4. Season the steak with salt and pepper.
  5. Cover the steak with lemon and onion slices.
