  • slivered almonds
  • 1/2 c. sour cream

  2. Dust chicken breasts with garlic salt and dip each in the butter mixture.
  3. Bake the chicken at 350°F for 20 to 30 minutes.
  4. Spread cream of mushroom soup and mushrooms over the chicken.
  5. Sprinkle slivered almonds on top of the soup mixture.
  6. Bake for another 20 to 30 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
  7. Mix sour cream into the butter mixture and heat on low to melt the sour cream.
