Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp margarine
  • 2 (10 3/4 oz) cans chicken noodle soup
  • 1 can water
  • 1 cup cooked chicken
  • 1 small can evaporated milk
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper
  • 2 Tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 (1 lb) can cream-style corn

Instructions

  1. Saute chopped onion in margarine just until soft in a medium size saucepan.
  2. Stir in chicken noodle soup, water, cooked chicken, cream-style corn, evaporated milk, and white pepper; heat just to boiling.
  3. Pour the hot chowder into heated soup bowls.
  4. Sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired.
