Ingredients

  • 2 lbs green beans
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tbsp grated lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Place green beans in a large saucepan and add just enough water to cover.
  2. Add salt and bring to a boil.
  3. Cook for about 5 minutes, then remove from the pan.
  4. In a separate pan, melt butter over medium heat.
  5. Stir in grated lemon zest and lemon juice.
  6. Add cooked green beans to the butter mixture and toss to coat.
  7. Serve immediately.
