Lemon Parsley Stuffing
Ingredients
- 10 cups dry bread crumbs (about 14 slices) ⓘ
- 1 cup finely chopped onion ⓘ
- 1 cup snipped parsley ⓘ
- 4 tsps finely shredded lemon peel ⓘ
- 2 tsps dried marjoram, crushed ⓘ
- 1 tsp dried thyme, crushed ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp salt ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp pepper ⓘ
- 2 cloves garlic, minced ⓘ
- 1 cup margarine, melted ⓘ
- 2 slightly beaten eggs ⓘ
- 1/3 cup water ⓘ
- 1/4 cup lemon juice ⓘ
Instructions
- Combine bread, onion, parsley, lemon peel, marjoram, thyme, salt, pepper and garlic. Mix well.
- Combine melted margarine, eggs, water and lemon juice; toss with bread mixture.
- Spoon stuffing into an ungreased 2 quart casserole. Bake uncovered ina 325 degree oven for 30-40 minutes.
