Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cups butter or margarine
  • 1 package lemon jello (3 oz.)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Sift together the flour and baking powder.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the lemon jello and continue creaming well.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla until combined.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until smooth.
  6. Drop by spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes or until edges are golden.
