Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 egg
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 box confectioners sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Mix oleo, cake mix, and egg until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the prepared pan to form the base layer.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, eggs, confectioners sugar, and chopped pecans until smooth.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake base in the pan.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 325°F for 40 to 45 minutes if using a glass pan, or at 350°F for 40 minutes if using a metal pan, until golden brown.
