Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups plain flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup cooking oil
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

Instructions

  1. Sift the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, salt) together in a mixing bowl.
  2. Combine the beaten egg, cooking oil, and milk in a separate bowl.
  3. Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir just until blended.
  4. Gently fold in the blueberries.
